pokemon for the gameboy is awesome man. the show sucks.. the card game sucks more... but pokemon the game was actually really good... cant compare apples and oranges though..

sorry solid, but i was one of those who loved the cards. I actually had a $100 card, and didnt even know it. I also enjoyed the game

The GB games and the TCG are awesome. I remember when I opened 3 booster packs and got 2 Charizards as a kid. Super exciting. And it made my fire deck, which I still have. It's too bad I lost my non-first edition Machamp card. It was worth around $400 dolllars a few years ago.
Also, I am playing Emerald right now, on my school computer. (It's legal, I bought the game, so I can use the ROM.)

bleh.. all card games.... magic the gathering...pokemon.... yu-gi-oh etc etc etc are total wastes of money... IMO.... its so boring and dull... i'd rather play freakin dnd.

I also collected the Dragonball Z cards as a child. But, I never made any money off of that one.
(I only made money off of Pokemon if you count little 1-5 dollar games with friends.)

i think we need to just make something clear here
the game itself...doesn't suck...honestly, i thought they were fun games..
its the fact that the community around it, and the fact that alot of ppl take it so seriously that they become so weird and nerdy , and then since they play the game...it makes the game look bad
