Well since nobody is posting (lol) i guess i'll post what he told me. He said its like life, and growing up. When your growing up all throughout your life, not just when your younger. You are always learning things, things that an other people could have already been through.
We all seem to need the help of someone else, to mend that shelf of too many books,
(the books is like all the questions in life)
Read me your favorite line
(instead of me having to read all these books, why don't your summurize it for me or tell the best parts of it)
and so it's saying, don't be like, i know everything blah blah blah, take advice from other people becuase they could have been through something like or exactly what it is your having trouble with.
I think it's a really nice piece of poetry.
