When and who will be finalized soon. Depending on how many show up will most likely decide which people go where. If we only get enough for 1 room then will most likely go with popular vote. If there's enough for 2 rooms then we'll have one with one game type and the other will have the other game type, uless Meesam wants to work out something else. The weapon sets will also probably depend on the map.

Since the maps are already decided (Lockout first then Midship), any of these weapon sets are suitable. We will do what Rick says and decide on popular vote on which weapon set will be chosen on the day of the Tournament. I will make a new thread about the rules and regulations in a different thread. Stay tuned.

I mean...you have maybe...2 people showing up from TDC.
I know I'll win and all, but still...
Also..my input on weapons(again, not like it matters)
Comparing a BR to a Rocket or Sword is completely wrong.
Weapons such as a Rock, Sword, or Sniper are considered POWER weapons. BR makes the game balanced. See...
Giving everyone SMG starts means that the BR has now become a power weapon. Since most maps only have 1-2 BR spawns, both of which are considerably long, it is hard to obtain a BR, and the person who DOES, is almost guaranteed a win. Fair?
Now...start everyone with a BR, and you have leveled the playing field. There is no longer one guy sitting B3 on Lockout with a BR, pwning the other person. With BR starts, the person not on B3 has a better opportunity to kill the person B3.
Tell me now...what's more fair...
It's a 1v1, game starts....
Player 1 spawns Library...pretty good spawn, close to a BR. Now...Player 2 spawns S1. Boo spawn. No BR there, only a sniper, which any semi-intelligent person with a BR is going to be watching to blow up the crates.
Now Player 2 has a horrrrrrible disadvantage.
Now..same situation, except both players spawn with a BR. Now Player 2 can lay suppressive fire on Player 1 as Player 2 goes to get the Sniper, safely.

Coming in with two posts of attitude like you have put forth will keep you from participating in this tourney. Your Holier than thou at halo attitude is not winning over anyone here and since you left the clan due to inactivity, the same as roggie, technically you cannot participate in any clan events. Unless Jeremy forgot to remove your permissions, the only reason you can even see this board is because it's an announcement.
Now, seeing as how you've decided to go the route of "this is my holy halo opinion" I'mn going to say this, we'll play the games with whatever setting the majority ENJOY. If that mean we get map default then that's what we'll get.
Commenting on however many people from TDC doesn't really matter. If we get 2 people that show then that's all we get. This is meant to try to get people together in a FUN environment, not something uber competitive as they were in the past. We're trying to cover all bases to make it enjoyable for all. Not Everyone bows down the MLG like you Brandon.
If you insist on coming back to the forums to tout your supposid greatness over everyone else I'll be forced to ban you from here and possibly do some home grounding as well. Do yourself a favor and press your nose to deflate you head before it explodes.
We all know your good at the game but you do not need to come in with cocky comments and remarks that could and probably will discourage participation in our CLAN event. You're no longer part of the clan so butt out.

See...I give my opinion, and I get bashed.
I MERELY stated my opinion, gave supporting evidence, and even created an image in people's minds to possibly sway their decisions on the weapons.
I never put down anyone's ideas...I just said what I thought and why I thought it.
Going by majority...
I believe most of the people who gave input wanted MLG rules.

I just read my post. Eh...maybe a little arrogant...but oh well. I know what I can and can't do as far as this game goes, and I like to say it.
How is me saying that I'll win any different than Meesam's caption which says, "I Always Win"?
No offense Meesam.
Another point: "Fun" is an argumentative term as everyone's definition of fun can be different. For instance...MLG is fun to me. Whereas someone like Goddess thinks MM is fun.
Last thing...
I hate you use what happens in a forum, an online environment, as grounds for punishment in real life.
Yeh...I'm done. Personally...I don't see anything wrong with either of these posts, other than in the first one, I stated that I would win if allowed to play. Just trash talk, but you took it seriously...dang.

You've actually made 3 statements since your departure from the clan that have cause people other than myself to realize you still need to deflate your head. You can hate that I use an online environment to punish in real life all you want. You have been raised better than to be arrogant and cocky about anything. You really need to belly up to some humble pie and realize that you are not god's gift to gaming or Halo and that there are better people than you out there.
I'm not saying that you are not good and that you shouldn't be proud of it but coming into your old forums, which you used to moderate, stating that since you left someone else can be the best in TDC and your other statements of if you were allowed to play you'd win are just degrading to others and shows nothing more than you have a god complex and need to put it in check.
All it does is make people hate you and I know that you feel the pixels on the screen don't mean anything however, some people actually considered you a friend and you are doing nothing more than ruining it.
I will agree that everyone's definition of fun will be different but that is why we were looking at more than one room for qualifying rounds. For once some poeple who only play MLG rules might actually have to play with a different starting weapon. What's so bad about that? Nothing.
I'll leave it with this, anymore god complex comments from you will bring consequences when here or in person. You need to think about what you've been taught and apply it instead of being the cocky teenager you are now.
