*recorded* The top average PI's after todays games are: Capn Spanky - 117.02 They will average out some. Nobody's is so far ahead because he only played one game, and it happened to be good. If I did it right then you average for the two games is 176.63 Remember that these may not be exactly correct becasue I do not remember exactly all the little details. Jeremy will calculate them to properly record them. Odd... I thought my PI would be a lot higher than that. Considering my PI has averaged over 100 each game. I mean, 176 + 117 = 293 / 2 = 146.5 Maybe the math is incorrect? Also, will your PI be higher after a long game than a short one?

My PI's are correct, trust me. Plus thats only two games, you have played more than that. Also see my previous thread on why the average PI's from the spread sheet and Rick's program are not exactly the same. Basically the program is good for calculating the PI of one game, it will give you the same answer. In order to get the correct PI for multiple games (at least the same way I calc it), you have to input all the data at one time. If you calculate individual games then average them together, it will not be correct.
I just looked, Ricks calculation of 176 is way off, he must have input something incorrectly. You didn't do that well in those two games. Also, the 117 from before is an average over 2 games.
Before we make it available for download, I will have him check the formula. The download will be a zip file that includes Rick's program, my spreadsheet, and instructions on how to use both.

The program should be able to run the all the data from all the games. You'll just have to manually total the headshot, kills, deaths, assists, and medals. Everything else will tally with the formula. The only exception would be if you played multiple games of say ball or flag and wanted them all in there. Then you would have to manually tally the stats and then input them. The program will calculate the PI just as the spreadsheet does except I think it'll round a little differently.
It was something to do when I was excited about VB. Now I really need to revise it to see if I can make it better. No promises though.
Oh and the differences were probably just me not inputting the times correctly. I couldn't remember how they were done.

Times are input in seconds.
And the program could be really cool, but it would take a lot of work to make it function the way I would want it to. Rick and I discussed this back in the day, but I don't think its worth the effort. The current program does the trick (if you input properly), and same goes for the spreadsheet.

So true. I messed up on the times. That's why my PI's were way off. I'm going to reinstall VB to see if I can come up with something better. I have alot of free time at work right now and can spend some time trying to develop something like we discussed earlier. Again, no promises though.

^^ Rick, if you havent done so, i think i can put the formula into visual basic and get a program out of it.

Could you please make a list of the player that have met the minimum games required?
