I live in the midst of southern california surfer/skater heaven. I live 5 minutes from Tony Hawk, infact the skatepark that he has made famous in the YMCA that I go to in Encinitas. Even one of the maps in Tony Hawk 2 is modeled after the high school across the street.
Also, living a half a block from the beach, I am in one of the biggest surf spots in the country. Rob Machado grew up in my town, if you know who that is. At one time he was the #1 pro surfer in the world. Anyway, I myself am not a surfer, but everyone else around here is.
I used to skate, then stopped when there was no time cuz I was playin sports. So sorry glen, I couldn't really tell what kind of long board to look for.
