Roggie already stated it but just to confirm...there will be nothing new to the xbox live arcade version of Halo 1. No xbox live play, achievements, etc. Nothing. Its exactly the same as the original at a price tag of $15.

Releasing all the games for download is not a bad idea from MS, they will probably make some money because gamers are so fickle. We love a game for a 3 months, then sell it for $5 cuz we are bored. Then, being the genius' we are, we are willing to spend $15 to download it because we realized we want to have a few weeks of fun playing it again.
I kept saying "we" because I wanted to make a generalized statement. But now I must be honest. I do not include myself in this at all, I am not stupid enough to spend $15 on a game I could get for $5. And in reality its really spending $60 on a game you should have originally got for $50. See, so many people paid $50 6 years ago, then sold it for $5, and are now going to spend $15 downloading it again.
So kudos to everyone who didn't sell Halo 1 at all (yay for me). I don't know why you would sell the greatest console FPS of all time anyway. Whenever me and the house four get together to LAN, Halo 1 is always the game of choice anyway. So I still play Halo 1 about once a month, and it is worth every penny I originally paid for it.
Switching topics a bit...I would be willing to pay more money (and I bet most people would too) to download an xbox live version of Halo 1...it just so seems worth it to me. Bungie would have to spend some time making that possible, but I am sure a price tag of $30 or so would make it worth their while. But in the end, I bet that will never happen so I will just have to let it go.
