Visit This site it should help you out. If not post back here for additional help. Also, if you do come back, post your router information as well.

I have it set up like this. I cannot connect to any games though. Anyone with a clue on that one?

ok, make sure you can go on xbox live and on the internet with your computer first? After that, try to find games that r close to you. One more, see if your xbc is outdated.

I need to know your setup. If you're trying to do a wireless set-up it's really hard and most of the time doesn't work. Most likely, you need to set-up the port forwarding or virtual server rules in your router to allow for the connections to go through.

I am going through a usb hookup to the computer, and a crossover cable to the xbox.

nope..I wasn't aware you're having the same problem. I'll think out possible solutions and get back to you.
=edit=
make sure you have an exception inthe windows firewall for XBC. This might be your problem.

I have it set so that it is not blocked.

So can I assume in your set-up that XBC can detect the xbox?

It did detect it. I can get to a game and all, but no games connect.

Ok..that's usually a problem with the virtual server or port fowarding set-up. Try these links to set-up your router and firewall properly. Router SetupFirewall Setup

All set up right. I checked that with my ZoneAlarm.

zone alarm might be part of the problem..have you tried disabling zone alarm and then running it? Or better yet hooking hte box to the cat 5 and the computer to the usb to see if that works?
