it is part of your video card. So you need a video card that has a "video in" part - the capture card. I have the ati radeon 9600 all in wonder. If you look for a new video card, make sure look at ones that can capture video.

you can take all your recorded Halo that you have on video tapes and capture it Brandon. All you have to do it connect the VCR to the capture card instead of the xbox.

i thnk my dads computer has somehting like that....let me check...........................................
and the results are in.....i must be high becase i think the video hole..looks like a extra usb......so in other words..i confused a rectangle with a square..........

the audio/ video slot in the xbox is basicly a souped up usb slot (right???).......couldn't u make an adapter to plug it into the usb slot in your computer......or 2 seperate slots...1 for audio and 1 for video?.....or am a really dumb?

no, you cant do anything that you just said, you have to use a video capture card. Just look at the link that I posted from HBO.

couldn't i record it onto my video camera....and just upload that onto my computer........hmmm now..where do i find a camera that can do that? and where do i get that money,,,,

lol, my movies have been clips from 1 or 2 days of Halo. So there tends to be a bunch of the same people over and over again, like azballa and his guests.
