Tryout Request:
Please remember the following when requesting a tryout:
  • Read the tryout format

  • If trying out for the Halo faciton, post the games you want to play

  • The turn around for a decision is usually about a week after the actual tryout takes place.

    Halo 2 Tryout Format

    In order to make into TDC you must first pass a tryout. We are looking for skilled players who also want to be committed to playing in a mature and friendly environment. We want to have fun, but we are competitive at the same time. WE DO NOT ALLOW CHEATERS.

    The tryout is a two phase process. The first phase is a three game format testing various aspects of the game. If you do well in phase 1, you will advance to phase 2, which is simply more customs games with TDC members.

    To get a tryout, first post a tryout request in this board. We will reply with instructions on what to do. The tryout formats can be seen below.

    Phase 1
    Recruits have their choice of three game types for each game of phase 1.

    Game 1 - Objective
    1 Flag CTF Lockout
    CTF Midship
    CTF Warlock

    Game 2 - TS
    TS Snipers Sanctuary
    TS Midship
    TS Snipers Colossus

    Game 3 - FFA
    FFA Midship
    FFA Lockout
    Snipers FFA Lockout

    To make things go faster, it helps to post what games you want to play in your tryout request.
